Dates: Tuesday, January 12, 2010 + Tuesday, February 23, 2010 + Wednesday, March 24, 2010

Time: 4:00 PM - 7:30 PM

Place: Dobbins Hall, Rooms 207-209, The Harker School (500 Saratoga Avenue, San Jose, CA 95129)

Food: At 4:00 PM all students who are interested in having a meal at our dinner break should pay $5 cash. We'll all order the cheese pizza that we can with the money collected! Bottled water of course are welcome to pack their own dinners.

Legislation: For each scrimmage, Mr. Peele will assemble a packet of 8-10 pieces of legislation from upcoming area tournaments. Feel Free to email suggested pieces of legislation no later than ten days prior to the scrimmage.

Rules: NFL "National Circuit" style. That is to say that priority must be based on number of speeches followed by who spoke longest ago. No limitations on motions. No requirement to fill "empty" speeches (by all this I mean we won't waste time for students to write speeches in session. Tabling or that purpose or multiple affirmatives or negatives in a row are allowed to be). Presiding Officers will be elected from the floor, etc.

Registration: You also must provide one judge. You may also designate a junior or senior who you believe is competent as your judge, though these students have at least 2 years of forensics experience.
